New album by Muse, Drone, has yet again found its place at the No. 1 spot on the UK album chart. They managed to knock off Florence + the Machine off the top after only one week.
The latest album includes singles Dead Inside and Mercy. According to the UK Official Charts Company it shifted nearly 73K copies this week only!

This is actually the fifth time Muse have found themselves on the top of the UK album chart – first was with Absolution in 2003; then came Black Holes & Revelations in 2006, followed by The Resistance two years later and The 2nd Law in 2012. So, their new album reaching the No. 1 position is no news when it comes to Muse.

As for the Florence Welch’s latest album How Big How Blue How Beautiful, it’s just one place down the list, followed by Collabro’s Act Two, Ed Sheeran’s X and Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour.

Some of the new entries include FFS, the indie group featuring Franz Ferdinand and Sparks, who are at position No. 17 after one week; Leftfield – the highest ranked new entry at No. 6 and Pete Townshend with his new album Classic Quadrophenia, a symphonic version of the Who’s 1973 album, enters the chart at No. 32.
